• This is a replacement for the Charger that shipped with the switch. It is USB-C and will charge the pro controller. Source - I own both.

• No, this cable is micro USB. The correct cable that is needed to charge a Nintendo Pro controller is a USB type C connection. If you search Amazon for “USB type C” you’ll be able to chose from a plethora of cheap replacement cables.
