“Is this Chromebook using an Apollo lake processor? I'm curious if it gets hot quickly being that it's fanless?”

• nope doesnt get hot at all and i task mine pretty heavy (with 12 internet tabs) however, i do not play games so..but i wouldnt worry at all about heat issues unless you mean youre just not comfortable with it on your lap. a processor will throttle or shut down if it gets too hot

• This model ships with the Intel® Celeron® N3160 1.6 GHz; Quad-core CPU. We have not heard of any issues with overheating on this Chromebook.
