eMMC is old tech that should be avoided. It's about the equivalent of running your OS on a thumb drive - comparable single threaded read/write speeds with absolutely no bandwidth for real world use. Bandwidth is your friend - stick to SATA 3 SSDs or even better M.2 PCIE SSDs. 1080P is the standard in HD today - especially on a screen this size. 1080P streams are readily available everywhere, from Netflix to Youtube.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.solid state is faster and should outlast eMMC. SD cards use the same storage technology as eMMC, and they don't have near the read/write cycles of an SSD. 1080p is better picture quality than 720p, but it uses more bandwidth.
