• This Chromebook does, in fact, have the IPS display. It's very clear and I love the way it looks, but do sometimes wish it was a little brighter. I actually spent a lot of time trying to come up with a straight answer as to which of the Acer Chromebook models were IPS. In the end, I learned that reviews (such as this one, ironically) were not a reliable source of information. The best option is to look at the data sheets provided directly on the Acer website as they will detail whether a version has the IPS or regular TFT screen type. It's also worth mentioning that every CB5-571 model is the same, regardless of the last four characters of the model number. (The last four characters seem to only pertain to a specific re-seller.)
