Not sure why Acer is telling you that this isn't wall mountable. I bought this monitor today at Walmart and the PM161Q Cbmiuux, absolutely DOES have mounting holes in it, and the box says that it's wall-mount capable. That said, I've been searching for over an hour on how to get the foldable screen cover off of it so I can mount it to a wall mount, but all of the instructions online refer to an older, non-wall-mountable version. My serial number also doesn't show up on Acer's website, so I can't even get proper support, so take that for what it's worth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does have two threaded holes that I would have to assume are for mounting, but vesa is normally 4 holes and I can't find a mount with just 2. Why do you think you need to remove the stand? It's not in the way at all and it will definitely void your warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Acer PM161Q monitor is designed to be compatible only with devices that support USB 3.1 video output. It does not have VESA mounting capabilities as it is primarily a portable monitor designed for connectivity via USB-C. This means it lacks the standard screw holes for VESA mounts that are typically found on more traditional, stationary monitors.
