The screen is glossy. I wouldn't call it anti-glare. There's no problem with indoor use but outside I am sure it would get glare.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can buy an anti-glare/matte screen protector that will enable you to use it outside and still be able to use the touch screen. It also reduces wear & fingerprints on the screen itself! They cost $10-$20. I also recommend getting a keyboard cover to protect the keyboard from grease/spills/etc. They cost $5-$15. These two things will make your laptop last years longer!
