• The upgraded model might be better for gaming, I don't use mine for that purpose I was told the upgraded model was out.

• Chromebooks are not considered gaming laptops, as these run off apps like an Android phone or tablet. These are very good for schoolwork and if the game is available through the Google Play Store or Chrome web apps, then it should run fine.
