Microsoft provides the free trial of their Office program. Unfortunately Acer has no control over the cost of their program. If you need a full copy of Office after the trial ends, you will need to purchase it separately as Acer does not offer full copies of this application with the product. Here is a link to their site with the cost info: https://products.office.com/en-us/buy/office and you can also purchase it from local electronics stores like Best Buy, etc.
