“I purchased an Acer Monitor, Model S271HL recently. I cannot adjust the volume on from the control button. I can hear through headphones, but not without headphones. Are there speakers on this model? Datasheet indicates there are 2 speakers.”

• There are indeed 2 onboard speakers on this model. I am having issues with my speakers now as well, very similar to your issues. The on board speakers used to work perfectly fine a few years ago, now they don't. I have tried all the basics to get them functioning and nothing yet.

• There are no speakers on this monitor. You can add some speakers but they have to be plugged into the headphone jack on the back.
