• Sorry but I have research if this laptop is capable of installing professional Windows 10. If I had to say, I think it should be capable of doing so based on the laptop spec.

• I believe yes. I didn't get a chance to upgrade as don't have the Pro key but even on much cheaper laptops, Pro version Bitlocker works. You just need to get a factory back up in case you wanted to re-install the factory OS and then install Windows 10 Pro or just simply as I imagine you have the key, upgrade it to Pro version.
