No this is not normal. I would suggest after it is fully charged, to use it until it is fully drained of power and charge it again. If you have the same results, I would return it to Best Buy for an exchange

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should be charged up more than 57% after an overnight charge. Try running the battery down until it powers off, then charge it back up. If it is still not charging back up after plugging in all night, please contact Acer support at 866-695-2337.
