• Yes, after logging in. You can choose which color and easily change the brightness as well.

• Yes. At the bottom right, select the time. Then select Settings . Under "Wallpaper and style," select Set your wallpaper & style. At the bottom, under "Keyboard backlight," choose your custom color.
