I bought a Bose SoundLink Mini II bluetooth speaker for my monitor. It sits nicely on the stand in front of the monitor and sound amazing. The speaker cost around $180 but I can take it with me for use elsewhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Really depends on your personal preference on sound quality and if you want whole house shaking sound at concert levels. For a smaller computer monitor like this and a work desk environment I would get the Bowers & Wilkins MM-1 $399. The frequency response of the speakers is great. It won't shake the house but will give outstanding sound quality in a work desk environment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not a television. It has no tuner, so it is only a VGA, DVI, and/or HDMI display. There are no mounting holes for accompanying speakers, as there are for some displays. You're free to choose speakers based upon sound quality instead.

I would not recommend high powered Bose® speakers. They would probably knock you out of your chair. If you need loud sound, get headphones and pump up the volume. Otherwise, check with your friends, they may have an old set in their basement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a computer monitor not a television. Therefor, you should get some computer speakers that will work with your computer itself. I have a set of Logitech Z200 speakers that work great and they're only $30.
