I use it with macbook pro. No problem. I would not think there could be any issue with PC either. The monitor comes with an HDMI and a VGA cable. So you don't really need to buy anything else. Pretty good monitor for the money though not comparable with retina.

HDMI pretty much covers any computer these days.

This monitor has DVI and HDMI connections. As long as you have those connection types you will not need an adapter or cable that converts.

I'm using the HDMI cord, which plugs into my Mac Book Pro. It also has a VGA input, but for that, you may need a Mac VGA Adapter.

Yes, or is compatible with both platforms. You may need to buy another cable for Mac. I don't know Mac hardware. Maybe you won't.

Depending on the model of your Apple machine you will either need active converter cables, or adapters that you can use with the included cables. This comes with VGA and HDMI cables, so you can either use a mini DisplayPort/USB-C adapter (depending on machine model) with the included cables, or purchase an active mini-DP to HDMI cable and use that instead (again, depends on model)
