The hdd kit is the bracket and cable to allow the user to install a 2.5" hdd for extra storage.

Best to use a 2TB SSD (Evo 860) for storage/installation of your Games. 500GB m.2 nvme ssd won't be enough as need a 1TB. Upgrading is easy but still extra money. If using for Video Editing-Rendering - Audio stuff you may need to upgrade from 16GB DDR4 2666MHz to 32GB (2 x 16GB) is the maximum memory on the Predator. There are Two m.2 slots available so you can have Raid configuration. Normal Battery life is just under 4 Hours. and Gaming is about 90 minutes. The 2019 Acer Predator is considered to be in TOP 4 Mid-level gaming laptops. Heard 2020 model will be a bit better yet but have to wait on that. The GTX 1660ti model is being sold elsewhere for $1,099 or even at 1,000 on Sale.
