This is likely due to the limitations of the monitor's Data Frequency Rate (DFR) technology, which requires a trade-off between resolution and refresh rate. The Acer KA272K is a 4K (3840x2160) monitor, but due to bandwidth limitations (HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2), it cannot do 4K and 144Hz simultaneously.
