Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not been able to make this machine run hot no matter what I throw at it. The dual high speed fans are temperature sensitive and automatically adjust speed accordingly. That said, I have never even heard it significantly rev up to the higher speeds. You can change settings to make the fans run faster if you so choose. As far as Thunderbolt port, yes it is there.
