I bought a gaming laptop and mostly use it for streaming and basic computer functions. I love it, it handles everything I need it to and I love the customization of it. The best thing about them is you can upgrade each component easier, so if you decide you want more RAM more things are compatible, etc. And I know if I decide to start gaming on it later on, it can handle what I ask it to. Gaming will put some of the biggest stresses on computer systems, so if you have one built for that it should be more than enough to handle your other tasks. Hope that helps!
