A:Answer I bought this laptop for my daughter to do some minor photo editing with and she says it does really well as far as that goes. She is 16. I did notice that it came with only one stick of 8gb ddr4 memory. This might not affect the performance too much unless you are planning on using it for a lot of gaming or a lot of photo and video editing. I personally own three different gaming PCs, one with 8 gb memory, one with 12 gb of memory and one with 16 gb of memory. All three have two sticks of memory each but the 12gb pc out performs the 8gb pc and the 16gb pc out performs the 12gb pc. So in my opinion if you're goin to be doing some high end gaming or high end photo and video editing then no I don't think it's worth buying but if you're just looking to do some casual gaming on lower settings or some minor photo and video editing then I'd wait for it to go on sell. At least $150.00 off
The graphics card can handle a few triple a games on high settings and I know this because one of my gaming PCs has an Nvidia gtx 1050 ti in it and I've edited a few videos with it also. If u do buy it and you do use it for either a lot of gaming or a lot photo or video editing you will have to upgrade to at least two sticks of ddr4 16gb memory to be happy with it. Memory prices are through the roof at the moment. It will cost you somewhere close to $150.00 to upgrade to two sticks of memory.
