I played around with this i would recommend putting in two new sticks on DDR so-dimm ram rather then trying to match the 2666Mhz 8gb stick inside. I also recommend staying with 2666MHz ram because there is a dip in performance going to 2400MHz ram. So I would recommend going with 2 new sticks of 16GB 2666MHz ram.
