If you do have heat problems, you can also try to set "Nitrosense" program "Fan Control" from "Auto" to "Max". The fans do become quite noticeable at the higher speeds. Doing that on my Nitro5 takes the CPU and GPU fans each from about 2000rpm (plus/minus) to 6100rpm. Or, you can leave the "Fan Control" in "Auto" and see if just using the "CoolBoost" function cools things down enough (CoolBoost adds 500rpm to whatever rpm the fans are "normally" running. However, CoolBoost will NOT add 500rpm to "Max" rpm.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The laptop has heat issues with the lid open. I recommend a cooling pad for both operations.
