See my review.... Out of the box processor will peak over 90C after 30 min of gaming but that's cause the i8's are meant to run hot and thermal throttle... It's not Acer's doing it's INTEL'S! BUT!!!, no gamer stops there. A repaste and running throttle stop will get it to very good temps!! With some tweaking this will run cooler and is a perfect little budget gaming laptop IMO. Screen shot is AFTER repasting the chips and running throttle stop from "bob of all trades" on you tube but do so ONLY if you're experienced or done by a certified tech.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So far things run about as expected. It gets warm during gaming (what laptop doesn't). I am satisfied with the computer for the price I paid for it. As for specifics, I found the "Acer Nitro 5" YouTube playlist by "Bob Of All Trades" to be helpful.
