I do video editing and recommend this laptop, you need lots of RAM if your using lots of windows, this has 8GB which is a good start but I am putting in 32GB of RAM which will allow lots of activity on the computer with no lag and make sure the memory is a SSD (SOLID STATE DRIVE) probably 256GB paired with a 1 TB HDD would be sufficient for you. This laptop is easily up-gradable and its a durable laptop for the price. Look up D2D on youtube for help, he is a great youtuber and does great content.
