• A:Answer A refurbished laptop means a product that is restored to like-new condition. Recertified products can be demo units, review units or customer returns. Unfortunately there is no way to determine why a particular model was recertified. With that said, these should be purchased with the expectation of some possible cosmetic issues, but the product should be in working condition.
