Memory is upgradeable to 32GB. The bottom case must be removed to access those slots. The M.2 slot supports PCI-e Gen3 x4, only.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
FYI - it has two m.2 PCI-E 3x4 SSD slots, one occupied by a 512gb, AND a 2.5" SATA hard disk/ssd slot, including the installation bracket. This is crazy for a laptop, even a gaming one. I bought two 16GB 2666 PC4 dimms and immediately upgraded to 32GB of RAM. I also ordered a 2TB SSD to supplement the primary drive, and I still have room for a 2.5" SATA SSD or SSHD. Amazing. Thanks Acer for making an upgradeable and flexible machine. I use this machine for 3d rendering and modeling, primarily. I switched from Mac because they're not upgradeable and it would have cost four times as much money to get something comparable. Still have my MacBook, but it's not my primary work/play machine anymore.
