Does this monitor use USBC to extend from laptop? null

Not directly but you can get an HDMI to usb-c cord on Amazon for around $5 or even better get a Display port to usb-c for the full 180 hz.

This monitor has one DP connection if you want to daisy chain with a second monitor that has a DP port.
