A:AnswerDepends entirely on the games you want to play. Pretty much the whole draw is the high refresh rate of the monitor which makes the games look smoother but only if you’re getting the same amount of fps. So if you have a 280hz monitor, you’d need 280fps to take full advantage of it. In competitive first person shooters you should be able to get that with low graphics settings with a 1660 super but if you’re planning on playing high fidelity games and you’re looking for quality over speed then I would recommend a monitor with a higher resolution.
A:AnswerIf you cannot get 280hz, you'll need to check to see if your GPU supports this refresh rate. If you are certain it supports 280hz, please call Acer tech support at 866-695-2237 for assistance with your monitor.
