• You can charge the laptop through the micro usb port. Take advantage of this feature by buying a long usb cable and a wall adapter that has about the same voltage as the laptop charger. You can also buy a portable charger to charge the laptop while it is on your backpack or your car. The laptop battery has a capacity of about 8,000 mAh so a portable charger with about 10,000 mAh should be enough.

• The charger is proprietary model. You can cut the cable and solder a piece of cable to make it longer. This is not a USB charger model that you can get a USB cable easily to make it longer.

• Yes, you just need to find a USB cord that's longer. I have a 3 foot one.

• You can always make a longer charging cable. just cut the charger cord, then patch in a longer length of wire via a soldering iron. its pretty easy to do and very cheap!
