There is not a lot of room , I don’t know if heat sinks vary in size , I bought the 4tb WD black sn850x and. The heatsink that I got did not fit without exactly perfect , it literally was right against the bottom panel when I put it on you could feel where it was so I removed it and have not had any issues with heat or anything. The ssd has its own software to monitor all that and I do check it out regularly when using the computer longer and when gaming , haven’t had any issues with it heating up yet
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Usually SSDs with heatsinks don't fit in laptops. I don't think this one is an exception:( https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/689847/acer-predator-helios-neo-16-is-heatsink-included-for-2nd-ssd-slot&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiQ-9LHmuGCAxW7STABHVxfBasQFnoECAcQAg&usg=AOvVaw2J54BnOOrIofjd9EPgTtRa
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First thing I did on getting mine was drop in a 4TB (Crucial P3 160$), primarily as a games drive. I think a slim heatsink would work, but in a laptop its not that effective as theres little to no airflow. A heatsink without airflow to take the heat away means it will stay hot longer.
