How is the cooling null

The air from the vent gets warm at times. Using the keyboard PredatorSense key, the highest temps I have seen are GPU 65C, the CPU 85C, and the system is 54C. I bought a cooling pad from a community used item store for $2.00. While using the cooler the highest temps I have seen are, GPU 60C, CPU 58C, System 52C.
