• This laptop has two standard M.2 2280 SSD slots that support PCIe Gen4. To access, the bottom case assembly and battery need to be removed. A 1TB SSD is the highest capacity tested by Acer.

• I was able to add a 4TB today and it did successfully read it (and formatted). Have not experienced any notable issues yet.

• I installed a Samsung Pro 990 4tb with no issues. Just remove the back panel and slide it in. No battery removal necessary. It's easy to access and works great.
