as long as you remember to put the fans on gaming mode your fine....there is auto-gaming-custom modes...i run auto when not gaming and then gaming when I'm gaming...custom the fans start at 60 % and u can adjust sliders from 60-100 % for each fan... i had a liquid cooled hp omen 40L the new 2022 model and returned it for this acer... it blows the hp away in every aspect...the hp just got way too hot for my liking and it didn't have argb lighting
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ok so now after having this for 6 months i decided to upgrade to the Noctua NH-U12A cooler all my gaming temps dropped 15-20 degrees C so it's well worth doing and others in the Acer forums have used the NH-U9S those fit in any case the larger 12 series is more for the 5000 and 7000 series.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very hot. The CPU immedistely hits 100c on stress tests (even with all fans at max). I override fan control to near max when gaming(very loud) and the cpu tends to get from 70-90 depending on the game (70ish F room ambient). Gpu does better, usually around 71c full load (though vram can get in the 90s in really demanding games). Basically the stock CPU cooler is garbage and needs to be upgraded if you plan on using this for hevay use/gaming
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The i7 12700 gets up to 71 cou and 60 gpu ok auto settings in a hot room... ( Summer time 85 degrees) this chip doesn't need liquid cooling but you can upgrade it if you want.. the 7000 and the 8000 Omnicron ( 3080 and 3090 with 12900k some do come with water cooling)

Please try again later.well after having it for 6 months i upgraded the cooler to a Noctua NH-U12A everything runs 15-20 C cooler I'm very happy now and it was easy i did it myself! there are videos all over YouTube and or the acer predator forums on how to install it and Ya don't even have to remove the MB all you need is 4-3mx10mm screws to mount it and i put the CPU Frost blade fan right above the cooler for added exhaust.
