There is only one SSD slot on the motherboard and it comes populated from the factory. There are no provisions to install an HDD. The fans will depend on you power profile. Quiet is silent, Default is barely audible over ambient noise even while gaming, Extreme is easily audible but doe not have an annoying pitch and Turbo is very loud and slightly high pitched due to fan size. I generally use Default as there is only about a 7% performance difference in gaming and practical tasks from Quiet to Turbo with the biggest jump comes from Quiet to Default.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is not a way to add another ssd. The fans are really quiet in everything but turbo. In turbo it is like a vacuum cleaner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you turn on full Turbo mode, the fans go to max as the GPU and CPU overclock. That said, they are extremely loud in this setting. With normal usage, however, they're not noticeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can speak to the fan sound - it's pretty low but you will feel the heat coming up through the keyboard, especially on the left hand side. I never had any issues with locking up or anything even when 'hot'.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1)It is now Available 2)SSD up to 1TB, no HDD compatible bay 3)It depends on the load i think
