- Answer I am no expert, but I think there would be better (not necessarily more expensive) monitors out there for PS5. This monitor is designed around high FPS at 1440p (2K). The PS5 does not do 1440P. The PS5 will do 1080, 2160p(4K) and 8K. Most of the newer games coming out will probably be running at 4K, because at 8K the FPS will be so limited. Also, this monitor has all sorts of features for example G-Sync, and Free-Sync which will only work with PC graphics cards. I would recommend you find a monitor or TV that will do 4K at 120Hz and has at least one HDMI 2.1 on it for the PS5
