this after emailing Acer: The service technicians have verified that this monitor does not have speakers. Our team has reached out to Acer directly to have them update their listings as there are no speakers on this model. I apologize for the confusion and the delay in getting back to you. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This monitor does have speakers but you need to connect the included audio cable from the monitor to your PC. Also check the volume control settings in the Menu settings and make sure it is up so you can hear. If you still have no audio please contact PlanetROI who provides warranty service and support for the recertified products. Contact information should be included in box with the monitor. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not have built-in speakers (I was fooled by it too). If you connect the screen via HDMI you can attach a wired headphone jack (on the back of the screen)
