• you can tilt the monitor. I had the same problem. Hold the base and the top of the monitor and tilt it back to a position you want.

• The monitor will tilt forward and backwards to a certain degree. To straighten it just push back on the top of the monitor while pulling the bottom towards you. Please check the user guide for more information on this.
