No this monitor does not have speakers and there is no provision for connecting to external speakers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had two of these monitors since 2018 and they were cheaper when I bought them at Best Buy's local store. I think I paid under $100 and I've had them for quite some time. They have been my "go to monitor" for work and personal. I used to be a Mortgage Loan Processor working from home and I had the monitors connected to my MS Surface Pro 2017 via the MS Surface Dock. They have served their purpose however, one thing I wished I could do with them is to be able to turn one monitor vertically but there is no way. There are also no VESA mounts available for this monitor. Again, for my needs, they work and they've always served me well. I suppose I can't complain too much about $100 monitors. They will do the job well and they work well either via VGA and HDMI. One of my son's would use one of these monitors as a gaming monitor when we were still living at my mom's basement but we have moved but kept the monitor since they work for our needs. They also don't have built in speakers which is also not a game changer bc they're going to end up being more of a distraction. I just bought two cheap Logitech speakers and plugged them into my Surface Dock and they work like a charm. I would be complaining if I had to pay more but I didn't so I guess there are sacrifices when you're on a budget. All in all, I would recommend these monitors to friends/family/co-workers bc they simply "work." I have never had any issues with them even when I leave them turned on for days at a time. I'm sure it will shorten it's life but so far so good. Thanks.
