Yes, the SFE16-43-R98R laptop does have a fingerprint reader.

I do suggest you give it a good touch to turn on the power instead of a quick jerk, it then may not be able to do the read. To function the read, it need power first, you can be so quick that you just turn on the power and lift your finger so quick and don't allow it to read.
