If the garage bonus room is on the same coax as where the spectrum modem is, then yes, this will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely! 150ft should not be a problem. What will be a problem is interference from the cable running by power lines or degradation of the cable itself. Now there is no guarantee you will get full speed at that length but you should have enough speed to stream Netflix without much of a problem! Regardless, if it doesn't suite your needs, return it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We also have Spectrum and I've installed several of these Moca units, definitely increased the speed and decreased the wireless usage. But check the router to ensure it is Moca enabled, or another Moca has to be installed at that end. I purchased a better router and returned it since my old router was Moca enabled but the new unit was not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely! As long as you have cable within 200ft distance, it should work. More than that, I would recommend using a Cable Signal Amplifier. Remember that you have to have at least two units: one by the modem/router and one at the access point. If you are connecting a TV on the same outlet, you will have to connect this unit first, than the TV to the output of the unit. I have several of these devices connected thru my house.
