It connects thru HDMI & will mirror whatever you have on the transmitting TV.

Please try again later.If your Comcast box has an HDMI out then this product should work fine for you. there is a HDMI pass thru port which allows the signal to go to the TV at the transmitter end. The receiver also has HDMI out to the remote TV The kit includes an IR transmitter and receiver. you will have to position the transmitter over the port in your cable box that receives the signal from your Comcast box remote control. that way you can control the box from the remote tv. you will need the Comcast remote control for it to work, or another compatible remote control. there is no included remote control in the Actiontec kit.
