Please try again later.I don't know specifically about your desktop, but I can tell you I have had no problems using the adaptor to connect my Surface Pro 3 to an HD TV using the TV's HDMI input port. So I see no reason it wouldn't work with a desktop computer that has an HDMI port. I will add that one of the big reasons for me to get the Surface Pro 3 was to have a light-weight full-feature computer to take on trips and to connect to my hotel room's TV so that I could watch my SlingBox while traveling. This connector enables the Surface Pro to do that job.
