+This is what I found on their Website..... The aluminum heatsink is incredibly attractive with its satin black paint and gold accented trim. It measures one millimeter thick and sits approximately two and a half millimeters above the PCB when installed. The thermal tape provided is quite sticky and should be considered a permanent solution once attached as it is difficult to remove without damaging the drive’s components.
