It’s a flat piece of aluminum it’s pretty good for the Ps5 I haven’t had any issues til this day
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most drives don't even need heatsinks at all. It's always helpful of course and having a flat piece of metal will help enough to make a difference. The worst that could happen is the drive could potentially thermal throttle and slow down if you continually write hundreds of gigabites to it. In everyday use it's unlikely though. And when reading it won't heat up much, only when writing.
