I’ve done that and had no issues, the only thing you have to look out for is the voltage output of the wall adapter. Just make sure it doesn’t output more voltage than the original by a whole lot and you should be fine, still would recommend sticking to the original hardware if possible though, but at the same time I wouldn’t stress over it
