Does this stand work well on soft surfaces? null

Its not great on soft surfaces because its so small and doesn't have much of a footprint. Awesome on hard surfaces but try something like the Hori game stand for soft surfaces.

If you're talking about a bed, theoretically, the width is too small to keep the Switch level. In that case, you might as well not use it, but then it's about battery management.

Yes it does. Has a nice non slip finish underneath that keeps it from sliding.

Yes, the bottom has 2 little pieces of rubber to avoid slipping all over the place.
