Does your license expire? null

Depends. Bought through Adobe as a charity/not for profit, there is an actual expiration date in the e-mail with the license key. Bought retail, there doesn't appear to be anything on the physical license card/sticker.

I think I can safely say No. However, you'll find you'll have to upgrade periodically, because when Apple upgrades their OS, chances are, your software version may no longer be compatible with the new OS. This is the only reason I'm upgrading.

it depends if you purchased your program thru the adobe subscription then yes. but i purchased a hard copy thru the store so i wouldn’t hv to hassle with a yearly cost. but then i also would need to upgrade i a few years for a better version at some point. there’s advantages and disadvantages to both.
