“Photoshop website said They stated they did not make discs anymore,subscription only. So, if this is a disc was the website lying to try to force you to get the subscription? Or is this disc only a piece of Photoshop that has "add-ons" for a price?”

It is subscription only for the full Adobe Photoshop but that is not the case for Adobe Photoshop ELEMENTS 2020. You have the option of purchasing Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 either with a disk or as a download.

However, this is Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements, which might be considered "lite" versions of the full programs. Elements are still sold by Adobe as discs; no subscription required. That said, I have used the Elements ( both Photoshop and Premier) for years with good success, and at a small fraction of the price of the full versions (which now only come via subscription). Unless you are a professional, these will likely meet your needs.
