Q: Questiondoes this come as a disc or is it download only

• A:Answer It came with disks for both windows and mac, however you get a redemption code for each item (premiere & elements) that you need to go online to redeem before you can use the programs. Finding the redemption site redemption area was a royal pain. I kept getting a 404 error. So I was about to call adobe but I googled it first. After an hour plus of trying to find the link to redeem, I finally found it. Why cant they just make things easy! ONCE YOU REDEEM, then you can go ahead & enter the redemption numbers they give you into the programs so they are activated. I suggest to take a screenshot of the redemption codes they give you, print it out & keep it in the box. I wouldnt go further with the installation until I had a printed copy of those 2 very long numbers in my hand.

Q: QuestionI bought this in best buy for a christmas gift for my son. His new laptop does not have a cd/dvd reader writer. No cd/dvd drawer at all. will he be able to download this or will he need a disc drive

Q: QuestionPhotoshop website said They stated they did not make discs anymore,subscription only. So, if this is a disc was the website lying to try to force you to get the subscription? Or is this disc only a piece of Photoshop that has "add-ons" for a price?

• A:Answer It is subscription only for the full Adobe Photoshop but that is not the case for Adobe Photoshop ELEMENTS 2020. You have the option of purchasing Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 either with a disk or as a download.

• A:Answer When purchased, make sure you register the product. If your system crashes or computer dies completely I would contact Adobe and ask how to move the application to your new system after all you did purchase the application and you do have the codes to load the application again. I'm sure they will help make the transition.

Q: QuestionDoes this version have a "tool selection" for moving copy. airbrush, moving art, paint and other features I will use in brochure and note card work like my old Adobe Photoshop Elements 2001? Photo work is not my primary need.

• A:Answer Yes. In general, Elements tends not to lose features over time. They change their location and ease of use. The product has evolved to be more photo oriented - so those tools are easier to use and more front and center - they love their aware tools. You will probably have a bit of a learning curve to find what you used to do. And some of the adjustments for the tools are in new places. Sorry I can't remember when they made a massive change in the tools, it may well be in the 10's. By the way, good luck - you'll find the newer software bloated with stuff you don't need or want. It is a little like moving into a new house, it takes a while to get used to the new surroundings.
