I am not sure I have a 64 bit machine and it works amazingly. I actually have an old computer with Photoshop Elements 8 I will check later and respond again. I am short on time right now but will respond in a few days. I am sure Adobe could answer that question. I can say I have old pictures over 50 years old that I made look like new with Photoshop Elements 2023. It is an over the top software for fixing pictures that need fixing.
