Is the $80 a subscription amount or a flat price? null

Adobe Elements is a stand alone software package, it is not connected to the Adobe Cloud and therefore is not part of their available subscription service. The $80 is a flat price and, in my opinion, perfect for anyone who is considered an "everyday user". I would only recommend the Cloud suite for those who require the software as a mandatory element of their job (yay for the tax write-offs!)

Flat price as long as you are an educator or student.

It is not a subscription. It is a perpetual license.
